Good Trouble

The late Congressman John Lewis famously urged, “Never, ever be afraid to make some noise and get in good trouble, necessary trouble.” This collection highlights portraits of individuals who have shaped movements across civil rights, feminism, environmental justice, indigenous sovereignty, gender liberation, and beyond. Long-time activists like Dolores Huerta and Angela Davis are featured alongside new voices like Alok Vaid Menon and Helena Gualinga. Beyond a celebration of their achievements, this show aims to inspire the audience to reflect on their own ability to get into good trouble.
